Amy Walker is a native of Patrick County and has served on the Patrick County School Board for six years, during which time she has held the positions of Chair and Vice Chair. She is deeply passionate and committed to ensuring that the students of Patrick County have the opportunity to achieve academic excellence and are prepared for success in college, career, and life.

Amy earned her bachelor’s degree in Public Administration and her master’s degree in Public Policy from Liberty University.

Her role as Clerk to the Board of Supervisors for Patrick County affords her the distinct opportunity to observe the full scope of county government operations, including financial planning and budgetary constraints, which have helped her understand the fiscal responsibilities of the School Board.

Amy resides in Patrick County with her ten-year-old son, Clay. In their personal time, they enjoy activities such as fishing and spending time at the beach.
