Jenny Nichols is a school board member for Washington County Public Schools. Jenny holds a degree in Political Science from UVA Wise and has completed her Master of Arts in Public Policy from Liberty University.
In addition to her role on the School Board, Jenny serves as the Registered Apprenticeship Coordinator at the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center. In her position, Jenny guides program design, providing administrative and technical support for businesses looking to establish apprenticeship programs in various sectors like construction, healthcare, IT, and manufacturing and connecting them with students from K-12, community colleges, etc. She resides in Bristol, Virginia with her loving husband Brock and their two sons, Jack and Todd. Jenny enjoys reading, running, golfing, and spending time outdoors.
Jenny is excited to serve as the President for the Virginia School Boards Association and considers it a great honor to have the opportunity to collaborate with board leaders from across the Commonwealth who are committed to improving education for our students and educators. She looks forward to working with fellow board members and advocating for policies that will positively impact all communities.
