VSBA President Dr. Cardell Patillo to Visit Suffolk City
School Board on the President’s Roadshow

Charlottesville, VA – Dr. Cardell Patillo, President of the Virginia School Boards Association (VSBA), is continuing the VSBA President’s Roadshow on February 8, 2024, with a visit to the Suffolk City Public Schools’ school board work session. The meeting will take place at the Suffolk City Hall in the City Council Chambers. Dr. Patillo’s ongoing commitment to the President’s Roadshow highlights the VSBA’s dedication to maintaining strong relationships with school divisions across the Commonwealth.

Thursday’s visit to Suffolk City Public Schools provides another opportunity to engage with local school board members and other education leaders. The goal for this visit is to allow Dr. Patillo to gain insights into the needs of the school board and work to provide support.

“I look forward to connecting with the passionate school board members in Suffolk City Public Schools,” stated Dr. Patillo. “This ongoing Roadshow reinforces the importance of understanding local needs and working together to overcome challenges. By working together, I am confident that we will strive to provide a brighter future for every student.”

This will be the third visit on the VSBA President’s Roadshow. Virginia school boards are encouraged to contact VSBA to be considered for a stop on the Roadshow.
