Virginia School Boards Association President to Visit Hopewell
City School Board on the President’s Roadshow

Charlottesville, VA – Dr. Cardell Patillo, President of the Virginia School Boards Association (VSBA), is continuing the VSBA President’s Roadshow on May 9, 2024, with a visit to the Hopewell City Public Schools school board meeting. The meeting will be held at the Hopewell City School Board Office and will serve as a platform for Dr. Patillo to express, on behalf of the VSBA, the support of the committed school board members in their contributions to public education.

It is the hope that Dr. Patillo’s presence underscores the importance of collaborative efforts between the VSBA and local school boards. Prior to Public Comment, Dr. Patillo will address the board and commend the hard work and dedication of the Hopewell City school board members.

“I am grateful to have the opportunity to visit with the Hopewell City School Board and express my appreciation for their commitment to public education,” remarked Dr. Patillo. “As we navigate the ever-evolving landscape of education, it’s crucial to recognize the hard work and commitment of our school board members.”

This will be the tenth stop on the VSBA President’s Roadshow. Virginia school boards are encouraged to contact VSBA to be considered for a stop on the Roadshow.
