The Virginia School Boards Association (VSBA) and Forecast5 Analytics recently announced a partnership to expand the use of decision support tools for Virginia school divisions. VSBA joins the Virginia Association of School Superintendents (VASS) and the Virginia Association of School Business Officials (VASBO) as partners in the Forecast5 Corporate Partner Program.
Commenting on the new partnership, Gina Patterson, VSBA Executive Director stated, “Data is an extremely important tool for school divisions to use in order to make informed decisions. VSBA is excited to launch this partnership with Forecast5 to ensure that school boards have the opportunity to access important data that will assist them in making those decisions.”

The two organizations will work together to develop and deliver support to VSBA in the areas of negotiations and advocacy. Forecast5 will also offer training to VSBA members in using data to inform their decision-making processes.
School divisions will have the opportunity to learn more about each application at the VSBA Annual Convention being held virtually, November 18-20.
