We are pleased to have Toney McNair, the 2017 Virginia Teacher of the Year for Chesapeake City Schools as the opening speaker this year!  Attendees will have the opportunity to choose from over thirty mini-workshops highlighting successful practices in Virginia's school divisions. Participants will leave with many great insights and practical ideas. After the roundtable presentations, attendees will break into regional meetings to discuss pertinent issues coming up for their particular regions. This year the speaker is the Mayor of the City of Richmond.

VSBA Affiliate Trade Show

The VSBA is happy to announce the second annual VSBA Affiliate Trade Show in conjunction with the VSBA Conference on Education on July 18, 2017. You are invited to attend and display information and/or promotional materials that highlight your company. The purpose of the trade show is to provide key decision-makers across the state a chance to interact and learn more about your company. If you would like to participate, please complete the registration form either online below.

VSBA Request for presentations

Mini-workshops are a fast-track way of learning. Workshop presenters make short, informative, fast-paced presentations followed by brief question and answer periods. The purpose of the workshop is to provide particpants with as much information as possible in a concise, upbeat format. Each roundtable will be a different workshop, consisting of a presenter and 9 participants. Each workshop table will be numbered so participants can quickly find the workshops of their choice as they rotate through.
