VSBA Board of Directors Regional Scholarship
For the second year in a row, the Virginia School Boards Association (VSBA) is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 2027 VSBA Board of Directors Regional Scholarship.
We invite you to share this opportunity with eligible graduating seniors in your school division. Please be sure to share the complete scholarship guidelines along with the application so students are aware of all eligibility requirements, essay criteria, and submission instructions.
Scholarship Highlights
🎓 Award: One $5,000 scholarship will be awarded in each of the nine VSBA regions.
🌱 Essay Theme: Rooted in Public Education – Students will reflect on how their experience in public education has shaped their personal growth, influenced their future goals, and prepared them to make meaningful contributions to their communities.
📅 Application Deadline: Friday, January 15, 2027, by 4:00 p.m.
