2024 Annual Convention Golf Tournament Hosted by Moseley Architects

The 2024 Annual Convention Golf Tournament will be sponsored and hosted by Moseley Architects, with support from VAcorp, Participate Learning, Jefferson Health, Mark III Employee Benefits, and Timmons Group.

The tournament will take place on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at the Golden Horseshoe Golf Club on the Green Course, with shot gun start at 10:30AM. 

Lunch will be provided and a reception will follow the tournament at the Clubhouse.

2024 Early Bird Session – Communication with the Toughest of Skins: Lessons from the Rhino

How can you model respectful dialog with someone when you vehemently disagree with that person? Just as rhinos need tough skin to survive in the wild, school board members need thick skin to handle difficult situations and personalities. Learn communication strategies and conflict resolution techniques from the rhinoceros that you can apply in your role as a school board member to increase your own effectiveness. This session will equip you with practical tools to enhance your effectiveness as a governance team by improving your ability to navigate and resolve conflicts constructively.
