November is VSBA Take Your Legislator to School Month!
Each year, VSBA invites school boards across Virginia to welcome their legislators into their schools and communities. These visits are a great opportunity to build relationships, share successes, and have meaningful conversations about the needs and opportunities facing public education.
Here’s how your school division can get involved:
🤝 Invite your legislators to visit your schools.
💬 Share what’s working and discuss the needs of your students and schools.
📸 Take photos and share them with VSBA at communications@vsba.org and on social media using #VALeg2School.
